Plastic
Sometimes the fashion world cracks me up. They really doing extreme outrageous stuff. I do want to be in this world because of how bizarre yet beautiful it is. Only the fashion world can get away with stuff like this.
This work of art is titled Mirror Mirror. It is photography of seven models entering the age of plastics. What they will look like and become after plastic surgery. Photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and Styling by Panos Yiapanis.

Oscars
Oscars 2010 deemed an excellent show for entertainment but most importantly fashion. Alec Bladwin and Steve Martin did a fabulous job hosting. Humor was there yet not so extreme as to become an annoyance. I have chosen my best and worst fashions of the Academy Awards.
I know that Zoe Saldana's Givenchy gown has been getting lots a publicity as ugly, but I adore this dress. I absolutely love the bodice gold sparkle top. The slit is perfectly classy, not too long, and the light to dark purple ruffle is such a bold statement that I would die to wear. Her accessories and her hair were perfect. This dress was a definite risk which Zoe pulled off extremely well. This dress will live forever in Oscar history.
I loved Kristen Stewart's strapless blue silk gown by Monique Lhuillier. She looked beautiful, but, correct me if I am wrong, which I don't believe I am, Kristen needed some earrings. But besides that this dress was absolutely perfect for her. Very Gothic Chique.
This dress is absolutely gorgeous. Rachel McAdams in strapless Elie Saab gown. The colors and the volume of this dress are perfect. One of the best dresses of the evening.
SJP of course always has a unique dress on. This Chanel Couture gown is beautiful. I love the detailed back and the simplicity of it all. Very elegant.
Maggie Gyllenhaal, not as cute as her brother, but Jake is just as cute as this Dries Van Noten gown. The blue color definitely stood out.
Oh Prada! I adore this gown! It is beautiful and unique. Carey Mulligan looked amazing (should have gotten best actress). I love her hair (I almost want to get my hair done just like hers). The earrings the shoes the dress, everything worked.
Very chique very glamorous Aramni Prive. Amanda Seyfried looked amazing. I love this gown.
I am not a big fan of Michael Kors but I am a fan of Tina Fey. I thought she looked amazing. This duo worked very well together.
Classy. Very unique. A vintage bohemian look. Reem Acra vintage column gown. I thought this dress was neat and beautiful. But, what the hell are you doing at the Oscars Nicole Richie?
Miley Cyrus looked pretty in this classy Jenny Packham champagne silk gown. But Miley, please work on your posture.
Diane Kruger in Chanel Couture absolutely gorgeous.
Oscar de la Renta on Cameron Diaz, dare I say... Best Dressed.
Charlize Theron, what the Hell? Dior I am so disappointed in you.
Jennifer Lopez why did you ask Armani to make you a dress out of bubble wrap?
Vera Farmiga I am sorry you had to stand on stage and talk about George Cloney in this thing! Marchesa! Too many ruffles!
Kate Winslet your beautiful but this dress is boring.
Penelope Cruz bad color, too much volume. I am sorry, I do not like this.
Mariah Carey...worst dressed. Why must you always dress like a whore? Not to mention your husband looked like your 16 year old son. This is the Oscars not the GMAs. Why are you here anyway?

Ripped

However, I am not yet completely sold on this look. I do have many tights in my drawer that I believed were fatally ripped, but who knows, I might just put these tights on my legs.
But the real question is...is this "ripped" look chique or cheap?

And from now on I will continue to remind and remember and reflect on the moments that have indeed affected and tormented and changed my life for the better and the confusing but in all reality have set the pace of my day. I wish to hold on to the past for i'm worried I will not remember in the future. However I must not be caught up in the past, I do not wish to stay there. I want to move forward, but not too fast. I need to hold on to what I have while I have it. I am afraid of losing this feeling, this reaction to life, again...I need the months to move faster, and when the day arrives I need time to move so slow that it repeats itself eternally in my mind. Eternally yours.
