Pushing Daises

It makes me so sad that my favorite television series in the entire world went off the air in January of 2009. So I borrowed season one and season two, the only seasons, of Pushing Daises. The show is a beautiful love story about a pie maker, Ned, and his childhood sweetheart, Chuck. Ned has the magic ability to touch the dead and bring them back to life, but if he touches them again then they die again forever. Ned awoke Chuck from the dead but he can never touch her, yet they are madly in love. Anyway this is the best show in the world. I love it so much. I am so sad to watch the very last episode. I dont know if I can bring myself to do it. One of the main reasons why I love this show so much, besides the fact that it reminds me of my current relationship, is all due to Robert Blackmen. The costume designer. He gives Chuck such a beautiful collection of vintage inspired clothing that I would die to own. This is the best show and I have no clue why it went off the air. Not to mention Lee Pace is so cute.

Just watched the new ipad commercial.
What is ipad? Thin beautiful. Yes.
What do I want? Something thin and beautiful. Yes.
I watch this and I am not like "oh my god my boyfriend is going to leave me for an ipad I must go throw up and become thin and beautiful." No.
I see this commercial and Im more like "oh my god this ipad is the shit."
Its more like "hunny lets not have kids, instead lets watch someone else's kid on my ipad!" And tell you the truth I am perfectly fine with this alternative considering I am way too young to have kids/not planing on it for a while.If anything an ipad can bring two lovers together for a bit of romance under the sun. With ipad anything is possible. It does not want you to become something else, it wants you to have what you don't have. And when I say "what you don't have" I am not referring to not being beautiful and thin, it actually is not about that at all. What you don't have that the ipad does have is knowledge to everything. Maybe I am crazy, but I dont want to be the ipad or want to have the features of an ipad (thin, beautiful (well maybe I kind of do)) But want I want, to put it simply, is to just have a fricken ipad because it is pretty awesome.This ipad commercial is like peoples facebook profile pictures, it only highlights its best features (harhar).Ok but seriously who cares if you think this commerical is sending the wrong "image". Its a fricken computer thing (Im not sure what to call it) for Christ sake. Plus most people in the commerical using the ipad are female. More like well done apple! More like hey! you look so cool on that moped with an ipad. Sign me up bitches!I have been a PC girl my whole life, what, may you ask, is the computer that I am typing on at the moment, oh why it is a PC! But the truth...I want an apple. Maybe if PCs upped their commercials from portraying their laptops to be candy and put a little easy on the eye love into it them hell yeahz maybe. Actually not, considering PC has no ipad!
But this is not a war blog of PC and Mac ing an Apple. No my friends. It all has to do with this commerical. Ok so my ipad can do chores for me all day long? Bull shit!
"Hey ipad cook me dinner." "Hey Kara I cant but I can give you a recipe and then play you music to entertain you while you cook." "Aw thanks ipad, youd the bomb."
Don't be weird. Deep down, you want to rub your hands all over an ipad.

Clogs are back in style! FYI. I was never a big clog wearer before and I don't know if I am now, but many of these clogs are very nice. But hey, if Chanel makes it then I will wear it. That is if I can afford it, which I cant. But I can dream. And I am dreaming of this Chanel picnic. I would die for all of these on my feet.

Too Fast to Live

Ah so interesting! OK, Malcolm McLaren, a punk impresario, Sex Pistols creator, died on April 22nd. He had “Too fast to live, too young to die” spray-painted on his casket. (pretty cool) Anyway, he was basically the reason why the bondage pants became the pant for rebellious stylish cool people in the 70s. Pretty interesting if you ask me. The weird thing is that Cheap Monday came out with a series of one-off “bondage construction” jeans on the same day that Malcolm McLaren died! What the what what right? Malcolm and Vivienne Westwood sold similar jeans as the new Cheap Monday jeans in their old boutique, "Sex".

A little disappointed with the fit of some but I did walk away with a dress that I love and a new pair of wedges (not Zac Posen but got them for $15)! I am very excited to wear this dress, perfect for the summer

Sometimes I don't think certain people realize how much they can hurt you. Its not mean but it is frustrating which turns into being hurtful. More then anything I know that I can be accepted but I know that I can not be changed. Why should I. I wish my hair would grow 3 inches every day and I could color it red with crayons.

I'm a Fan. Robby and Natalie Kalmbach Farrey. Ha! So good. I absolut love this short film. I thought at first the girl robot was using the guy but she really did love him. I recently asked my boyfriend if we were robots and I lost my arm would he give me his. He said probably not so I think Ill date a robot next time around. The rats totally awesome. The robots look so real. I really felt sad in the first scene when the robot was looking out the bus window and there was a robot in a car accident and he was dieing but no one cared. This film, I believe, really makes you think about your life. Don't be the expected.

Well Alright

Day light saving time has begun. I have sprung ahead and lost an hour of my life? What would I have done in that hour that I don’t have any longer? Perhaps escape the thoughts and horrors of reality? Get me out of here. Not to express my irritation towards every which way and what not. I must say that I feel hopelessly excluded from the closeness of it all. Why must I be so far away? Lets take a gander into the extraordinary and fall helplessly into the introspecting. I mean seriously. I don’t want to miss out on my boring lame life. Yes. It is all the while good by itself. Alone and inconvenient. I do not want to mislead you all by telling you that my knee caps are as big as dogs fur but I do want to live inside a pod with you, if only for a minute. So enjoy your days of boredom because what would happen if your whole life changes tomorrow and there would be no boring moments in your life ever again. What a drag. Its almost here. Do as you may, but dont forget about me so soon.

Oh my gosh I am dieing for warm weather and spring and summer clothes. But, I must declare I am now looking forward to the cool air of fall once again.
